For an optimal use of the digital range in the professional digital photography Schneider Kreuznach has developed an electronic shutter of size 0. This shutter stands out due to its compact design, the diameter is only 80 mm so that it is suitable for almost each countersunk lens panel and therefore can be adapted to nearly all large format cameras.

As the shutter can be completely controlled by a serial interface, no further control device or additional control card is required. The functions can be directly controlled by the computer or the software of the digital back.

At Photokina 2002 the operation will be at fi rst only possible in combination with the new eyelike digital backs, further systems are in preparation.
